I have been a counselor at the elementary, middle school and high school level for over 20 years.  I grew up in Los Angeles, California.  I received my bachelor’s degree from California State University Dominguez Hills.  I  received my masters from the University of LaVerne.

I enjoy working with the students at SEEO.  Our school is unique and the perfect setting for me.  I look forward to assisting all students with their educational and career journey.  Whether students are interested in attending a university, community college, the military or heading straight to work you will receive support along the path which best suits your interests.

Life is a journey not a destination.  As you embark upon your journey I hope you keep your focus and accomplish everything you are striving for.

About Me:

Greetings! My name is Kassandra Perales, and I proudly serve as the School Counselor for the ESI Program.

 

Educational Background:

I obtained my Bachelor of Science Degree in Child and Adolescent Development, specializing in Families and Communities, from Cal State Fullerton (go TITANS!). Subsequently, in February 2018, I accomplished my Master’s Degree in Educational and Clinical Counseling from Azusa Pacific University.

Before becoming a School Counselor, I worked as a College tutor in various elementary schools in Pomona. This role taught me the vital importance of building strong relationships with students and their families. Ensuring the safety and well-being of every child was always my top priority, and I found great fulfillment in keeping parents informed and reassured.

 

Personal Tidbits:

Originally hailing from Corona, California, I have a deep connection to the area. When away from my professional duties, I enjoy exploring food fairs, attending sporting events (Go Dodgers, Clippers, and Chargers!), savoring Cuban cuisine at my Grandma’s, and unwinding with movies alongside my partner and our cat, Sunnie.
